Classic City Transportation is a private, pre-arranged transportation provider based in the Athens and Watkinsville, Georgia area. We provide professional door-to-door transportation services for airport transfers, weddings, wine tours, corporate transportation, sporting events, concerts, special events, and other transportation needs throughout Georgia and surrounding areas.

2. Services Provided

Classic City Transportation provides private transportation services by reservation only. Services may include:

  • Airport Transportation
  • Wedding Transportation
  • Corporate Transportation
  • Wine Tours
  • Concert & Sporting Event Transportation
  • Group Transportation
  • Special Event Transportation
  • Hourly Transportation Services

 

We are not a taxi or rideshare service. All transportation services are privately arranged in advance and subject to driver and vehicle availability.

3. Reservations & Booking Policy

All reservations are subject to availability.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate booking information, including:

  • Pickup and drop-off addresses
  • Passenger count
  • Flight information
  • Contact phone numbers
  • Luggage details
  • Special requests

Additional passengers, stops, excessive luggage, route changes, or changes made after booking may result in additional charges.

Classic City Transportation reserves the right to substitute vehicles of similar or greater capacity when operationally necessary.

A valid credit card is required to secure all reservations.

4. Pricing & Payment Policy

Rates provided at the time of booking or quoting will be honored for the requested reservation.

Payment is generally processed after completion of service unless otherwise stated.

Rates may include:

  • Base transportation charges
  • Temporary fuel surcharges
  • Waiting time charges
  • Overtime charges
  • Cleaning or damage fees
  • Additional stop charges

Rates do not include gratuity unless specifically stated. Our booking system may offer an optional gratuity during booking, which remains entirely at the customer’s discretion.

Classic City Transportation reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to service.

5. Airport Pickup & Flight Policy

For airport transportation services to or from Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport and other airports:

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate flight information at the time of booking.
  • We monitor flights when flight information is provided; however, customers are still responsible for notifying us of major delays, cancellations, reroutes, or flight changes.
  • Domestic airport pickups include up to 30 minutes of complimentary wait time beginning at the scheduled pickup time.
  • Additional waiting time due to baggage claim delays, passenger delays, or airport processing may result in additional charges.
  • Airport pickups are generally conducted at designated ground transportation pickup areas.
  • Customers should keep their phones available after landing for driver communication and pickup instructions.

Classic City Transportation is not responsible for delays caused by airlines, TSA delays, baggage claim delays, airport congestion, weather, accidents, or traffic conditions.

6. Wait Time & Overtime Charges

For airport pickups, additional wait time beyond the complimentary grace period may be charged in 15-minute increments.

For hourly or scheduled services, overtime charges may apply if the reservation exceeds the originally scheduled timeframe.

Current overtime and waiting charges are subject to change and will be disclosed upon request.

Waiting time begins once the driver arrives at the scheduled pickup location.

7.Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Airport transportation reservations canceled less than 48 hours prior to scheduled pickup may be subject to cancellation fees.

Hourly bookings, weddings, wine tours, sporting events, concerts, and other special event transportation may require additional cancellation notice and may be subject to minimum charges.

No-shows may result in the full reservation amount being charged.

A passenger may be considered a no-show if:

  • The passenger cannot be contacted
  • The passenger leaves the pickup area without notifying the company
  • The passenger excessively delays pickup without communication

Refunds and courtesy cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis at management discretion.

8. Passenger Conduct & Safety

For the safety and comfort of all passengers and drivers:

  • Seat belts must be worn at all times when required by law.
  • Smoking, vaping, illegal drug use, or unlawful activity is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
  • Excessive intoxication, disorderly behavior, harassment, threats, or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated.

Classic City Transportation reserves the right to terminate service immediately without refund if passenger conduct creates unsafe conditions for the driver, passengers, or vehicle.

Passengers are financially responsible for damages caused by themselves or members of their party.

9. Alcohol Policy

Alcohol consumption inside company vehicles must receive prior approval from Classic City Transportation.

Additional alcohol-related fees may apply.

Underage drinking is strictly prohibited.

Classic City Transportation reserves the right to terminate service immediately if alcohol use creates unsafe, illegal, or disruptive conditions.

10. Vehicle Damage & Cleaning Fees

Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to company vehicles by themselves or members of their party.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Vomiting
  • Food or beverage spills
  • Stains caused by food, beverages, makeup, ink, dye, or other products
  • Burns
  • Tears or punctures
  • Broken vehicle components
  • Excessive trash or messes

Cleaning or damage fees may be charged depending on the severity of the incident and professional cleaning requirements.

11. Child Safety Seats

Customers are responsible for providing and properly securing all required child safety seats in accordance with Georgia law unless otherwise arranged in advance.

Classic City Transportation reserves the right to refuse transportation if proper child restraint systems are not provided when legally required.

12. Luggage & Personal Property

Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings.

Classic City Transportation is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items left in vehicles.

Excessive luggage or oversized items must be disclosed prior to service and may require larger vehicles or additional charges.

13. Service Refusal Rights

Classic City Transportation reserves the right to refuse or terminate service for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Unsafe passenger behavior
  • Excessive intoxication
  • Illegal activity
  • Harassment or threats toward drivers
  • Excessive passenger counts
  • Situations that violate company policies
  • Circumstances requiring compliance with DOT safety regulations or driver hours-of-service limitations

No refunds will be issued when service is terminated due to passenger misconduct.

14. Delays & Limitation of Liability

Classic City Transportation shall not be liable for delays or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Traffic congestion
  • Road closures
  • Accidents
  • Weather conditions
  • Airline delays or cancellations
  • TSA delays
  • Airport congestion
  • Mechanical issues
  • Acts of God or emergencies

We are not responsible for missed flights, missed events, or indirect damages resulting from delays outside our control.

Customers are encouraged to allow sufficient travel time, especially for airport transportation.

15. DOT & Regulatory Compliance

Classic City Transportation operates as a commercially insured transportation provider and complies with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

We reserve the right to modify, delay, or refuse service when necessary to comply with:

  • DOT safety regulations
  • Driver hours-of-service requirements
  • Weather advisories
  • Road safety conditions
  • Operational safety concerns

16. Privacy Policy

Classic City Transportation values your privacy.

Personal information collected during booking or communication is used solely for providing transportation services, customer communication, billing, operational purposes, and service-related notifications.

We do not sell or share personal information with third parties except when required by law or necessary to complete requested services.
